Accelerate the Cutting Process
- Patented Direct Drive Technology
- Constant Stand Off - Bevel Cutting
- Reduced Taper
- Tech - Sense Capabilities
Patented Direct Drive Technology
By incorporating patented Direct Drive DC Servo Motor Technology for the 4th & 5th axis, the PAC 60™ is capable of positioning accuracy to ± 0.1 degrees, with rapid acceleration and positioning speeds, as well as continuous rotation.
This makes the PAC 60™ the fastest, most accurate, 5 axis waterjet cutting head available in abrasive waterjet cutting.
Constant Stand-Off Bevel Cutting
An accurate stand-off is critical to achieving accurate parts when Bevel Cutting.
The PAC 60™ incorporates an optional Touch Probe height detection to set a precise stand-off before piercing, or to predetermine the flatness of the material and make compensations in the “Z” height, to maintain an accurate stand-off while bevel cutting.
Another option is a non contact Laser Sensor to perform Precision Terrain Mapping on the surface of the material to be cut. This information is then used to maintain an accurate stand-off distance between the nozzle and the work piece, resulting in more accurate parts.
Reduced Taper
The PAC 60™ operating software incorporates True Cut® algorithms data base, developed to determine the correct cutting speed to produce a given surface finish in any material of any thickness automatically. TruCut® combined with the Precision Angle Control feature allows a finished part to be produced with the desired edge angle from +60 to -60 degrees.
This means that the taper typically produced when waterjet cutting is effectively eliminated, giving you “Precision Angle Control” of any part that can be produced on an X-Y abrasive waterjet cutting machine.
Tech – Sense Capabilities
The PAC 60™ is also available with Tech-Sense™ to ensure your bevel cutting head is working efficiently and notify the operator if something goes wrong.
When Tech-Sense™ is used in conjunction with Softec® Mobile Phone Communication, you can receive and reply to text messages from wherever you want. This unique feature makes lights-out operation a reality, something very useful on a Waterjet machine where run times can be hours or days.

System with Bag
The abrasive slurry is then pumped to a heavy-duty bin by an abrasive resistant diaphragm pump. The abrasive settles inside the bag while the water is returned to the Waterjet tank.

Twice the Power
Twice the Speed
The option of multiple cutting heads gives the Techni Waterjet™ Cutting Machine the power and speed to provide the highest level of productivity, in the most demanding production environments.
Techni offers 2 alternatives for Dual Heads.
Option 1 is mounted on an aluminum spreader bar, the cutting heads can be quickly and easily positioned whilst still featuring the unique breakaway head configuration. This feature allows the machine to automatically shut down one of the cutting heads if either one of them comes into contact with a foreign object such a fixing clamp.
Option 2 is Independently mounted cutting heads, which allows for an accurate stand-off to be set and maintained on each cutting head.
The power Z-axis, which allows for easy height adjustment of the heads from either the computer console or via a switch positioned on the end of the Y-axis. This is standard with multiple cutting heads as it is with all Techni Waterjet™ Machines.
benefits of the
Multiple Cutting Head System

Double Machine Productivity
and output by utilizing the power of multiple, highly accurate cutting heads

By Producing More Cuts Per Minute

Extremely Safe to Operate
the cutting heads are paired with unique breakaway head configuration sensor technology

Have Parts Produced in Half the Time

Maintain Optimal
Stand-Off Height
The skip function automatically raises the cutting head well above the material when traversing between cuts. This ensures that the cutting head cannot catch on a cut part which may have tilted and risen above the materials. This will ensure that the focusing tube isn’t broken and the workpiece isn’t moved or damaged.

Touch – Probe
By touching the surface of the slab it’s able to detect disparities in thickness and make compensations in the “Z” height. This is particularly important to prevent unexpected results during bevel cutting.
- Probe before each pierce on the fly (while cutting)
- Probe before cutting the pierce points, path or full sheet
- Probe four corners and the center of a sheet only
- Probe only lines with bevels programmed
- Use the probe to set standoff when setting plate origin
Laser
As material flatness varies and stand-off changes, so does the geometry of the part being cut. A constant, accurate stand-off is critical when angle cutting, and the greater the angle, the more critical it becomes.
- Mapping before cutting the pierce points, path or full sheet
- Mapping four corners and the center of a sheet only
- Mapping only lines with bevels programmed
- Use the laser as a pointer to edge find, find the center of a
hole or use the dot to set the plate origin

panel matching
Has Never Been So Easy
Until Now

Tech – Vision
This allows the operator to effectively perform bookend and waterfall edges, matching the patterns in materials such as stone, to ensure that the final product is exactly what the customer wants.
It’s also much easier for the operator to ensure benchtop positioning on the slab is correct before starting the cut by looking through the eye of the Tech Vision Camera. This eliminates waste that would be associated with inaccurate panel matching.
Tech – Vision is used heavily within the stone industry as it is key to matching parts that will be mounted together.
Guard The Safety
of Your Staff
The light curtain guarding allows operator access only when the cutting cycle is complete, and the high-pressure waterjet is turned off.
If the operator enters while the machine is cutting, the light curtain guarding beam is broken, the circuit is interrupted, the system is then automatically e-stopped and the high-pressure water is dumped.
The side fencing prevents operator side entry, allowing access only from the front. The safety light curtain guarding consists of an emitter unit and receiver unit that is mounted on the side safety fencing.

EZY- Load Lifter
& Stone Easily
More often than not, materials like the ones mentioned undergo severe stress when being loaded on and off the machine bed, and because of this hairline fractures, cracks and complete breaks within the material can occur if lifting in the horizontal plane.
